After her husband is sent to Azkaban, Elizabeth has to endure with the current judging of the wizarding world. She is sure that he's innocent and even when she's trying to clear his name, people doubt to believe her.
And with all that, she's taking under her protection, to her godson, the boy who lived and she's going to give him the life he deserves, full of love and happiness next to her own children.
Even if she has to keep her husband's imprisonment as a secret for the sake of them. Her main focus is to give them a life out of the public eye, to focus on themselves and not the people around them.
