Light Yagami has crafted the future with surgical precision.
A specific chain of deaths will collapse political structures, remove key obstacles, and create the "world he desires."

One particular event - a public procession in a foreign kingdom - must unfold with exact timing.
A politician dies.
A noblewoman is disgraced.
A rumor spreads.
A revolution begins on cue.

Light has predicted everything perfectly.

Nothing can disturb it.

Nothing should disturb it.

Yet, on the day of the event...

One change appears.

Just one.

A presence where there should be none.

A young man running into the crowd to protect a silver-haired girl.

A variable.

Light senses it like a glitch in his design.

But he doesn't see the boy's face.
