Being wonderful is great, obviously. But not so much when you have a friend the rest of Oz scorns on a day to day basis. Especially when that is a predicament you have, because someone needs to be 'wicked' for you to be 'good.' At least, that's what a certain someone told her before.. well.. something bad happened. Something that keeps her up at night to think of how else it could've played out. Maybe a way that DIDN'T involve the only friend that ever mattered to her dying while she couldn't prevent it but had to watch.
