A lizard trapped in the monotony of his life encounters strange food that grants him a gift greater than he dared hope for.
The story experiments with narrative voice growth over a short period, starting simple and building up to an in-depth account of the narrator's new experiences. Along with it, a fabel-esque message meant not to discourage effort or growth, but to acknowledge that there are limits to what we can achieve.

Perverse Discovery
This is a series of short stories inspired by a friend. After buying a new house his mom found a letter (random scribbling?) left behind in a back closet. The scrap of folded paper had warnings about demons that lived in the walls and forced him to sell his house. Needless to say it was an unsettling discovery. Pair that with my own personal experience of buying a house sight unseen and moving (literally) halfway across the country in the middle of a pandemic I had enough material to put together a short collection of stories. Each story opens with an item discovered in a house followed by either the origin of the item or the discovery of the item. All focus around the experience of someone moving. I write these for fun (there are more coming, just editing at the moment) and my own entertainment during the time of social distancing. I hope you find something relatable or at the very least gets you thinking. Enjoy! PS - Although I would not consider this overly graphic there are some more mature scenes and use of adult language.Complete
Fluke of Fate
Zella Connor, a twenty five year old, who had no clue what her calling is. Having a hard time to cope up with the death of her mother and making amends with what fate had pushed her into she struggles between missing her mom and trying to sort out her life.. Nestle Simon, a twenty eight year old, was tired of the instability he and Ginny were having, was tired of running away from the past, was tired of losing people he loved, first his mother then his sister, he was done! he wasn't giving up anyone anymore.. This is a journey of Zella Connor and Nestle Simon, how different they had planned things and how fate had decided different things for them.. Zella Connor hated the diner her mother owned.. Now she works, breath and sleep in it.. Nestle Simon had wanted to have a fresh start, a clean slate, start everything from the scratch.. But the past that he wanted to leave wouldn't let him go.. Zella Connor had never cooked anything perfectly.. Now she runs a diner and everyone loves the food she cooked. Nestle Simon had planned everything, shift town, settle down with Ginny and Paulina, find out about the woman his sister ran over and apologise for the pain he caused.. Then he walks into a diner, had a cup of tea and the plans changed.. Zella Connor's mother didn't give birth to her.. And the ones that conceived her didn't want her.. Nestle Simon was called daddy by his niece and he loved it.. Zella Connor was not looking for love.. Nestle Simon was not looking for love.. And yet Fate had planned something else for both of them.. The Suggestion Box, Vol. 4: A to Z Challenge
Back in June, I decided to take the "A to Z Challenge", which usually involves writing something centered around one word corresponding to each letter of the alphabet. It being a short story challenge, occurring weekly, I decided to "up the ante" to incorporate the rules of a Suggestion Box list (Name, Place, Time, and Object) and turn it into the next iteration of this series! Forthwith, I went through every letter of the alphabet and tried to look back over any previous story that I'd written (except the fanfiction) to find characters whose names began with each letter. Most of the time, I could find a character from a previous Suggestion Box installment (so be sure and check out the referred "original stories", always noted at the beginning of the tale!) but I also took the opportunity to use characters from other unfinished novels, and even a few opportunities for tie-in stories to my published novella, "Princess of Undersea."Complete
