That dawn, A man, dragged in while the rain drizzled down, was locked in the back room, unconscious.

Suddenly, something snatched her wrist. Jennie unconsciously let out a groan and raised her head. The man, whom she thought was unconscious, was staring at her with wide, pale eyes. In his long, narrow eyes were dark pupils like a full moon. The perfectly black pupils slowly traced over her hat, her half-hidden eyes, and her mask, then went back up to her eyes. Even though their eyes had only met, she couldn't move. It felt as if a beast's hot, fishy tongue, not just a gaze, was passing over her face.

The man opened his lips as if to speak. It would be a big problem if he said anything and the master heard his voice. Jennie hurriedly covered the man's mouth. His lips touched her rough palm.

"Shh... Please be quiet, please."
