In 1985, Linda "Chyna" Smith, an Asian American boxer and model, was sidelined by a rib injury from a fight with Camille Imala. After recovering but restrained from fighting, she noticed the arrival of Russian boxer Ivan Drago on television, heavily promoted by his manager, Nicolai Koloff. Linda arranges a modeling session with Ivan, and things initially go well. But when Ivan finally notices Linda a twist occurs and everything goes tragically wrong.
