Anose is a vast, beautiful, and divided world where magic breathes life into the land; but balance is always in danger of tipping.
In this world, magic isn't just power. It's a gift, a curse, a currency, and a cause for war. It shapes cities, forges alliances, and drives people apart. Humans, elves, dragons, beast-folk, fae, and other beings all live across the world's many realms, each with its own customs, tensions, and secrets.
The lands of Anose are stitched together by both wonder and conflict. On one side lies Fuwa, a peaceful kingdom that lives in harmony with fairies and the natural world. On the other, Tempest, a cold and oppressive empire built on the exploitation of enslaved magical creatures. Elsewhere are the Elven Realms, majestic but closed-off, the Beast Lands, rising in rebellion, and the Fae Realm, hidden from most eyes, wild and unpredictable.
Some places in Anose are so magical they bend reality itself. Forests that refuse strangers. Rivers that shimmer with spirit light. Ancient ruins where souls whisper, waiting to be set free.
But not all is as it seems.
A fragile peace treaty holds between these two realms. Fuwa believes in balance and harmony with fairies, while Tempest enslaves them to mass-produce magic. Mutual distrust simmers under the surface.
Tired of being used as labour and treated as subhuman in Tempest, the beast-folk are beginning to push back. Quiet uprisings stir in the shadows.
The ethical divide over how magic should be obtained-gifted vs. stolen, balanced vs. abused-causes deep ideological rifts between nations and races.
Elves value purity of blood and look down on half-bloods. Humans are seen as greedy and dangerous by other races, especially due to Tempest's cruelty.
All of this and more!
