In a futuristic world separated into three sections, the rich are benefitted, but the poor live terrible lives. The rich live in the Diamond Age, a luxurious section filled with elegance and beauty. The poor live in the Rust Age, where people struggle to get their necessities. Then there's the Light Age. The Light Age is the military section that citizens of the Rust Age are sent to if they fail to pay their taxes, or fail to finish there work. Two Light Age girls, Raina and Kass, discover a disturbing secret about their world. Now they are wanted criminals on the run from the government. Will they survive?
