A few months ago, Scar and his best friend Cub acted on a crazy idea that they believed would help the city, which led to Scar becoming HotGuy, a sort of superhero/vigilante who works alone, protecting the city nightly.
Behind the scenes, however, he's a cat-loving architecture professor, who's lived in Hermit City long enough to know all of the villains and their M.O.s.
Or, so he thought.
When HotGuy comes across an avian mercenary one day while he's on duty, he is thoroughly confused as to why they seem to serve no one but themselves. He's even more anxious to figure out who - or what - they really are when he sees them use inhuman abilities.
Something large is stirring in Hermit City, and two enemies must put aside their morals and differences and work together to save the city.

This is technically a Scarian ship fic but nothing super serious between them is gonna happen until the next two books.
