When Lieutenant Dagr Magnusson wakes alone in a shattered cryo bay, the silence is the first thing that feels wrong. The second is the skeleton in the pod beside him.

The United Earth Star Ship Dominance was meant to carry thousands safely across the void on a mission of hope. Instead, it has become a drifting tomb. Its corridors are torn apart, its systems failing, and its crew still frozen in sleep, missing or dead.

Somewhere deep within the ship, something stirs. Something that should never have survived.

Driven by duty and a promise he refuses to break, Dagr fights through the wreckage to reach Xinyue, a woman still trapped in her pod, suspended between life and death. But the shadows aboard the Dominance are alive, watching, learning, and hungry.

As the ship groans like a dying beast and its systems collapse around him, Dagr must uncover what happened during the centuries he slept and confront the nightmare that now calls the Dominance home.
