Iris Turner had proved at a young age that the figure skating infastructure in Australia just wasn't enough to support her talent. Hence why her family found themselves moving to California in 2008. Not only did she find herself a best friend in Alysa Liu, but she carved a name for herself in the media. Known as Australia's 'Shooting Star' Iris is one of their brightest skating prodigies in years. With training camps (not national team ones, thank you very much, she represented her home country) and competitions within the US, fifteen-year-old Iris stumbles across a certain male skater. And now, at twenty, going into her second Olympics with her name in the ring for gold, Iris still can't decide whether she'd tell her younger self to never speak to him at all.
