The Beginning after the Last

The Beginning After the Last, or "TBaL," is a story I began shaping when I was around twelve or thirteen. My name is Liam, though I write as Author Avictus. I've carried this world with me for years, always hoping to one day share it with others. Now feels like the right time.

Some parts may still be a work in progress, as I'm transferring the story directly from my original handwritten notebook. I'm not a professional writer-this has always been a passion project, something I've poured time and heart into simply because it matters to me. Before my life is over, I hope to leave at least a small mark in the world of storytelling. If you choose to read this to the end, it truly means a lot. I hope you enjoy the journey.

The story spans multiple perspectives and intertwining arcs, making it difficult to summarize briefly. It begins with the birth of a new god, Lord Avictus, entering an existence torn apart by a long, bitter conflict. The gods' constant disagreements over how their powers should be used erupt into a war that leaves only two survivors: the king of gods, RaAvi, and Lord Avictus. Their opposing visions lead to a final clash where Avictus, though severely injured with a severed right hand, ultimately prevails.

As the last surviving god, Avictus must shape and oversee all existence. But a new threat emerges: his severed hand-still infused with RaAvi's divine will-begins creating destructive beings across the realms. These anomalies, called "Corrupted Negative Imbalances," disrupt the natural balance of existence.

Determined to restore order, Avictus creates an avatar named Lord Ravindra, sending him across the many corners of existence to confront these disturbances.

This e-book follows Ravindra's main narrative, while many characters introduced along the way have their own interconnected stories. In time, every arc and perspective will converge for a major reveal later in the series.
