Naruto: Threads of the Crimson Jinchūriki

When the Nine-Tails attacked Konoha, another child was found in the ruins-Damien, a toddler protected by his fallen parents. What no one knew was that his fate had already been sealed.

Before his death, Minato revealed a final secret to Hiruzen:
He had split Kurama in two.
Naruto received the raging half.
Damien, Minato's own nephew, received the gentle half.

The two cousins were meant to grow strong together-two halves of one fox.

But everything changed when, at age five, Damien shielded Naruto from a drunken attacker and was left dying. Refusing to lose him, Hiruzen authorized a forbidden last resort: the Jiongu ritual. Under the guidance of Hiashi, Shikaku, Inoichi, Choza, and Tsume, living threads were implanted into Damien's failing body.

As his soul began to slip away, Kurama's gentle half awakened:
"If he dies, the boy you protect dies as well."
Flooding the ritual with chakra, Kurama stabilized the Jiongu-turning Damien's threads a permanent crimson.

Damien survived.
But he did not remain ordinary.

Now, growing up beside Naruto and the next generation, Damien must learn to balance the compassion of the fox within him and the deadly power stitched into his body. Only a few know the truth of what he carries.

In a world already fearful of one Jinchūriki, a second one rises-quiet, observant, and bound by living red threads.

When darkness returns to hunt the Nine-Tails, they will discover the truth:
