It's just a one-shot story. I was bored, so I wrote something.

To others, the world is silent.
But to me... it never was.

For most people, silence is just silence.
But for me? No. There were voices. Whispers.
Sounds I couldn't understand
Not until I learned how to listen.

It wasn't something the ears could hear.

It was softer.
Deeper.
Not heard... but felt.

And the very first voice that made itself known to me?

A cat.

Yes, just a cat.

Or at least...
that's what I thought?
