"Isn't it funny how it's the boy from the dark that helped me see the light?"
As celebration of the one year anniversary since the finish of my most popular story, Broken, I've decided to revisit the story in an entirely new way.
The new special edition includes extended sections, updated writing, rethought scenes, and 10 added chapters.
Dedicated to the lovely readers that stuck by my side through my inconsistent posting, writers block, and supported my writing from the very start. This is all for you.
*content warning: fire, bullying, violence/blood, depression, domestic abuse, sexual assault, toxic relationship centric, mention of alcoholism, emotional abuse, death, themes that could be read as self harm, suicidal ideation, bipolar disorder*
Please let me know if I missed anything
[Completed] "That was the first night I had the dream. I was standing in a wilderness. Everything was black. Yet, there was a light ahead. It was dim but it looked promising. I hesitated whether actually walking towards the light, after all it could be a trap. That's when Harry appeared with a hand out towards me. "You want to know my secret?" his eyes were loving, something I hadn't seen before. "Follow me and you'll find out." I took his hand and we headed toward the light. But that's where it ended. It had me thinking though, was there a light at the end of all of this darkness?"
- honestly, i wrote this when i was like a freshman in high school so it's really cringey 😬 no judgement, please.
