"Don't say that," he whispered. He leaned closer to me and sighed. His breathing was hard and ragged. 
"Don't say that," he repeated. Tears started escaping from our eyes at the same time. All of this happened at the wrong time. 
Or maybe death came at the wrong time. That, or all of this was just a way of telling me to not get too close to people because all that is left is goodbye. And this was one hell of a goodbye. 


Vienna has suffered from cancer ever since she turned seven years old. She lost her hair and had to wear a wig her whole childhood. This is where things get good.
