For most of his childhood, Izuku keeps the truth hidden.
Because how could he explain that the voices speaking to him aren't imaginary?
How could he tell his family that warriors, heroes, villains, monsters, and legends from countless video games are real beings living beyond the boundaries of his reality?
And most importantly...
How could he tell anyone that they know him?
