The BACKGROUND

After transferring to a new school, Zylon is branded a troublemaker, due to her low rank, she doesn't face serious trouble but is still suspended for fighting with other students.

In VEIL, Zylon returns after her suspension to find her world completely changed: the school has been sold, and she becomes acquainted with a new student (Heath) in the school who is said to be the strongest. Heath quickly deuces that she must be suppressing her magic, as low level students do not get held accountable for their miss conducts, and Zylon must have know and was taking advantage of this. During the evaluation day her rank changes exponentially which shocks everyone, her life takes an unexpected turn. She ends up spending most of her time with Heath as their on the same level, they become reluctant allies, training together to sharpen their skills.

Heath dreams of joining the country's elite force that protects against the monsters threatening their world. As Zylon is stronger, she agrees to help him train and study, slowly revealing just how brilliant she truly is. Heath finds himself falling for her.

When both compete in the force evaluation for the nation's young protégés, Heath takes first place while Zylon takes second due to her forfiting mid evaluation. Despite this without Heath's knowledge Zylon gets offered a training program under Forces best division that Heath dreams of join, meaning she has a choice to take away Heath's dream, without hesitation accepts as the offer guarantees her future.
