A business student and café worker who became his younger brother's guardian after their parents died in an accident two years ago. Taehyung works tirelessly, balancing university classes, long shifts at Moonlight Café, and the full-time responsibility of raising Jungkook. Despite being exhausted and struggling financially, he never complains. He's gentle, protective, and deeply loving, though he can be firm when necessary (especially about vegetables). Taehyung often sacrifices his own needs-skipping meals, wearing a thin jacket, studying on three hours of sleep-to ensure Jungkook has everything he needs. His love for his little brother is absolute and unwavering. To Jungkook, he's not just a brother-he's a parent, protector, and entire world.
kim Jungkook (7 years old)
A sweet, polite, and remarkably mature seven-year-old who lost his parents at age five. Despite his difficult circumstances, Jungkook tries hard to be good, to not be a burden, and to make his hyung proud. He's naturally shy and sensitive, with skin that bruises easily and a heart that feels everything deeply. Jungkook is smart, getting gold stars in school, and is generally obedient-though he struggles with eating vegetables. He's perceptive beyond his years, often worrying about whether Taehyung is eating enough or working too hard. His love for his hyung is pure and absolute. When he's scared or hurt, he becomes clingy, attaching himself to Taehyung like a koala. His innocence and sweetness have endeared him to all of Taehyung's friends.
