In the year 1972, after coming out of a great and terrible 40-year-long war, a communist junta is finally allowing opposition parties in the nation they rule, and has scheduled to hold elections in one year's time. A faction that has operated in the shadows doubts the authenticity of these elections, seeing them as platitudes to assuage a war-weary population run clean out of national pride.
The intent of the story is to follow the progression as these characters struggle against the injustice they see, and to find whether they have the power to face it, or their true enemy.
Vesparen - "Wasp folk," refers to any insect-like creature, but this is predominantly giant wasps
Folkeren - "People folk," mainly refers to humans, but in some places also to apes or monkeys - the additional distinction in such places might add 'Adamaren,' which refers exclusively to humans
Bujsteren - "Beast folk," refers to sapient creatures which walk on two legs which have fur - applies to apes and monkeys in places they are not called Folkeren
Hecharen - "Creature folk," sapient creatures which do not walk on two legs
Makheren - "Machine folk," sapient machines
Twiren - "Double folk," any sort of hybrid of the rest of these, including cyborgs/those with prosthetics (seen as 'half-Makheren')
The concept is about a young man who traveled through space for more than 4,000 years to find a habitable planet. Using a hibernation machine, he survived the long journey through space. When he finally found a habitable planet, he returned to Earth to deliver the good news.
However, upon his arrival, everything had changed drastically because so much time had passed, and even his family was gone, having grown old and died. Because humanity had developed advanced technology and invented a time machine, the young man decided to use it to go back to the past and be with his family again.
