But their journey is fraught with peril. No sooner do they quell the Flesheaters than Chase himself succumbs to possession by Khaal, his will hijacked by the warlock's insidious machinations. Meanwhile, a new threat emerges from the shadows-Narcissus, a fanatical necromancer bent on the complete eradication of vampire-kind. With enemies closing in on all sides, Chase and his companions find themselves in a desperate struggle for survival, teetering on the edge of annihilation.
