Byler: Will got sent to Treecrack late and has trouble fitting in and on top of all of that and the trauma he has about just why he is at Treecrack he can feel himself falling for Mike wheeler, and that's not easy. Mike isn't the easiest person to fall in love with, lets just say that. After a whole summer of struggle, they find some way to make it work.Complete

They hold hands sit together at lunch and act like a couple whenever people are watching. At first it's awkward acting and teasing, but the more time they spend together the more natural it starts to feel. Their friends begin to suspect something deeper is going on when the "fake" moments start looking real-small smiles, quiet conversations, and the way they seem to always look for each other in a crowd.
