In the quiet town of Oak Hollow, Halloween night of 1964 was supposed to be like any other-costumes, candy, and childish superstition. But for eleven-year-old Mathew, it became the night everything changed. A dropped caramel. A black cat with golden eyes. And a creature that stepped from the shadows-slick, two-headed, hungry.
