Finney Blake got kidnapped 2 years ago, when he was in 8th grade, when he was down there, he saw all of the other victims and their ghosts, Billy Showalter, Griffin Stagg, and his best friend who had got killed aswell, Michael Sanchez.

Afterwards, he moves to Dallas, Texas, where he goes to high school. Finney was kind of popular, being kidnapped when he lived in Denver, and all.

 In his sophomore year, he meets Robin Arellano. At first, they didn't really know each other, but when they were assigned as partners for an English project, they realize they have more in common then they think.
