Christa Portland is a 17 year old girl from Sacramento, California. She had just moved down there just a year ago, and she now has her inseparable, best friend Violet. School was out for summer break, and Christa had made plans to do everything with her sister for life, best friend. But all that fails, when Violet is forced to go with her family on a summer vacation to Illinois and Florida, leaving Christa alone all for summer break, who will she hang with and spend her time with now?? Christa gets a job at the 'Snack'n Shack' and meets a boy....he's rude, and always making snarky comments, she would never hang out with "his kind". But as the summer goes on & he lets her in, she starts to feel as if he was a really good friend of hers...will she fall in love..have her very first summer fling?
