When the Tide Stops Moving

After settling down on Pabu, Clone Force 99 has spent two quiet months rebuilding their lives. The days are warm, the sea calm, and for the first time, Hunter believes peace might last. That illusion breaks when a stranger arrives one night at Shep's door, a woman rescued from Zygerrian captivity and still marked by the ghosts of her past. Her nights are restless, her sketches haunted by shadows no one else can see. When she insists someone is coming to her home, no one believes her. No one except Hunter. As the tides still and fear seeps through paradise, he must uncover the truth before her mind and her safety slip beneath the surface.

*In this work, Tech is alive, having somehow survived the fall through a chaotic mix of luck, engineering instinct, and a conveniently timed crash into a transport below. Now back on Pabu, he claims he "calculated the trajectory perfectly," while everyone else agrees he should never be allowed near another cable system again.
