This novel follows the same dark question in the lives of three nameless people-A., H., and a kid-whose lives never intersect: 'What drives us to live?' A. is a law student who questioned God as a child. Burdened by his belief in justice and the oaths he has sworn, one day he finds himself sitting in the dock before his own conscience. He cannot fully choose between right and wrong; for life has taught him that it is always a grey game. H. is an immortal soldier, born in the shadow of the Great War, whose age is unknown. He is devoid of emotion, compassion, and memory. Wherever he walks, he amplifies humanity's darkness. He is not the cause of evil; he is merely the voice of the decay that already exists within the world. And the kid... A witness who saw God die with his own eyes. When his family was burned alive, he first learned to cry; then to forget. Growing up in the midst of war, he shows how heavy the burden of being human can be on a child's shoulders. These three stories never intersect. Because in life, everyone walks in their own silent hell. But they all lead to the same question: If justice exists, why does it take so long to arrive? Or is what we call justice merely a fairy tale we invented to preserve our sanity? The question arises: is the source of evil human, divine, or nothing at all? And the reader fears themselves most in the novel. This book does not describe what people live with, but what they are forced to live with.

𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐕𝐞𝐢𝐥 Raven Swan has always lived in the quiet shadows of Forks, a town that seems too small for secrets, yet strange enough to hide them. At eighteen, she's spent her life under the roof of her father, attending high school and moving with her own circle of friends, never needing the Cullens, never wanting their attention. She knows them by name, has glimpsed them from a distance, and has felt the whispers of their strange presence-but she's never truly been part of their world. Raven is calm, observant, and quietly formidable. She doesn't need to prove herself; people notice because she is. Her mysterious aura makes her seem untouchable, but beneath the surface lies a heart that craves connection, even if she doesn't let it show. For decades, Alice Cullen kept a secret: a vision of a girl who didn't yet exist, destined to be the anchor for Jasper's war-torn soul. When Bella Swan arrives in Forks, it all started. The moment Raven finally gets paired in a project class with the Jasper Hale, the vision finally becomes a reality. As an empath who has spent a century drowning in the emotions of others, Jasper finds an impossible "calm" in Raven-a silent strength that challenges his control and offers him a peace he never thought he deserved. While their connection was foretold long ago, the path through the supernatural dangers of the Olympic Peninsula is anything but certain. Together, they must navigate the thin line between a predestined fate and the choice to love, proving that even the most turbulent heart can find its home in the one person Alice saw coming a lifetime ago.
