**#1 in #Darkmoon** A walk in the forest, that's what I need. A stressful day at school and a walk in the forest will relax me. This is what I do all the time. Every day without fail, I take a hour walk in the forest behind my home after school. This time something happened that I didn't even expect in these woods. At first I heard a low growl and thought it was just a dog and an owner. Then it got louder, sounding like it was getting closer. My head jerked in a direction where a twig snapped, causing my heart to start beating faster then normal. It was a bit dark in the forest, considering it was winter. I looked at the eyes and a hand grabbed mine, pulling me off in a different direction. This isn't the best way to meet someone but what happens when they see more of each other? I sat down under the shade of the tree, Malyshka laying down next to me, a small smile forming on my lips as she let out a small huff of air through her nose. The sound of footsteps advancing toward me caused me to look up, seeing Logan, who sat down next to me. "How are you liking it here?" He asked, pulling out a cigar "It still feels weird" I replied honestly, leaning back against the trunk of the tree "the Professor offered me a job. Turns out some kids wanted to learn how to cook, said I'd think about it" "You're staying" he said "might as well do something to keep yourself occupied" "Yeah" I replied with a small shrug Plucking the cigar from his hand, I snapped my fingers, causing a small fire to spark on my index finger, putting the cigar in my mouth and lighting it, taking a few puffs and blowing the smoke out. I took another puff, handing it back to him and blowing the smoke out, letting the fire spread on my hand, watching the blue flames dance. Another sigh emitted from me, wiggling my fingers a bit, "Have you figured out a name for yourself?" He asked curiously "I think I got one" I replied with a small smile "Which is?" He prodded ". . .
