A slow burn story taking place after the events of the game where ancient magic, destiny, and romance converge.

Lucie Reeve is haunted by the power she contained beneath Hogwarts. With her grades slipping and her attendance not faring much better, she begins extra lessons with the new Professor of Magical Theory. But the new Professor is cold, harsh, pushes Lucie to the extreme and forces her to confront events she'd rather forget.

Then Samantha Dale's brother is transformed into a Diricawl by a mysterious force, and their search for answers leads Lucie into unlocking a new darkness that manipulates her mind and sends her visions of the one thing she's most terrified of: destruction and chaos caused by her own uncontrolled magic.

But her path to freedom is scarred by the choices she's made, constrained by a protective Gaunt, only to be complicated by the reappearance of the reckless boy who broke her trust so long ago and the feelings she develops for them both.
