Who knew that one little survey could thrust you into another reality that wasn't your own? Well, that's exactly what happened to Alina Freeze.

•

Alina Freeze wasn't special, to say the least.

Just an avenge teenage girl fighting her way through the wonders of high school, alongside her dear friend Rebel Jewel, her life was fairly simple and rather uneventful - very lackluster, for lack of better description - which, truth be told, is just what she preferred.

However, that all changes one fateful day when she's forcefully obligated to participate in a survey issued out by the world renounced medical organization, Blue Health, to help find the perfect candidate to aid in their latest research. Only one child would be chosen, one special teenager fit enough to change the course of medicine and human history.

So, why the hell did she get picked? After all, she wasn't very special.

Or was she?

Cradle of time

22 parts Ongoing

Eighteen-year-old Emma wakes up in a pastel-colored nursery, stolen from the life she's fought to build. Her captors, Noah and Elias, aren't like anything she expected-kind but unyielding, they insist she deserves a second chance, treating her like the child she never got to be. Emma fights against their care, desperate to reclaim her independence. But as their motives unravel, she's forced to confront a terrifying question: is this captivity, or could it be the family she's always needed? Her freedom hangs in the balance-and so does her identity.
