Agatha House is the wife of Gregory House, much to the surprise of his entire team who are suddenly confronted with the woman when she suddenly collapses in the Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. A devastating diagnosis thrusts Agatha into a pool of feelings she has rarely been confronted with before.

As Agatha drags herself through recovery House unravels in the only ways he knows how: badly, quietly, and with far too much Vicodin. Their marriage is tested by something neither of them has language for.
