I Lay My Love on You

When Mohammed Dangote and Mariya Dantata met, the questions people asked were if and when they'd ever get together. From stolen glances and hidden smiles to nervous confessions and bashful laughter, theirs was a love story that bloomed in the most beautiful but heart-wrenching ways; a love that gave as much as it took.

Years later, their son - Nasir Mohammed Dangote - is finding love of his own in the eyes of Atika Dambatta. Intrigued and drawn towards her by a force he can't quite explain, Nasir decides to follow his heart. Their first proper meeting in her parents' living room makes two things clear to him; that he has found the woman he wants to marry, and he's never been readier to settle down, as long as she's the woman by his side.

Together, they build a family with the faith that life would only get better. However, just as life had different plans for Mohammed and Mariya, fate has much in store for Nasir and Atika, and they would have to learn that sometimes life throws the most unplanned events at you; not to necessarily break you, but to make you so much better than you would have ever dreamed.
