Unseen But Not Silent

(Cover art is mine, I'm definitely not an artist but I didn't want to use someone else's art) This is my first fanfic and it probably won't be that good, but I would like to try.
Twenty three year old Vix seems like a normal college student, but at home she struggles with depression and anxiety, mostly because she is the only known mutant, well... She is the only one that knows she is a mutant. It feels like nothing is going to change until she goes for a fly and wakes up in the middle of the woods. She then meets Grian, who explains that she is in a different universe.
Most people would think that being a Watcher would make Grian all powerful, and that he would be able to protect his server. He feels like he's failing to help his friends, so when a new player joins, he is determined to keep the Watchers away.
Vix is full of hope that she can have a new life here, but with the start of another death game, her old life starts to seem comforting.
