10 Things To Do Before I Die

Savanna Ellingson has lived her whole life under watchful eyes in the small town of Orion, Wisconsin. With her dad in charge of the place and her mom enforcing every rule imaginable, she's learned to keep her head down and look perfect, even when it feels like she's shrinking inside her own life.

One afternoon, she writes a list of ten things she wants to do before she dies. Most of them are things she has no real chance of doing, at least not in a town where stepping out of line is practically a crime. The list is meant to stay hidden. A quiet rebellion no one will ever see.

Then Miles shows up. He's new to Orion, passing through because of his mom's job, and he finds Savanna's list by accident. Instead of walking away, he asks if she's ever thought about trying any of it for real. What follows starts small, almost harmless, but each step pulls Savanna a little further out of the life she's always lived and a little closer to the one she's only imagined. And with every item they touch, the stakes at home grow heavier.

Savanna doesn't know where the list will lead or what it will cost her. All she knows is that, for the first time, she's willing to find out.
