Amber Vance and Christopher Bennett have been academic rivals since they joined Briarhaven University. Both Amber and Christopher compete in the same major, which just fuels the hatred they have for each other. Their field is marine biology. After two years of competing neck to neck both protagonists apply to the same prestigious, nearly impossible internship program to run research on a cruise. It's a floating lab, where students will help study coral reefs, migration and most importantly, they will be tracking a shark.

Of course, both Amber and Christopher excel and get accepted into the internship. Trapped in a ship with nowhere to run, their rivalry intensifies. As days turn into weeks both Amber and Christopher can't stop thinking about each other.

Amber and Christopher must navigate the most unpredictable territory. It's not the sea, but each other.
