Secrets aren't the only thing being buried in Beacon Harbor.

Scarlett Longfield has spent her life surrounded by stories, but none quite like the one that lands right into her lap, or rather, mailbox. As the Library Page of the quiet coastal town of Beacon Harbor, she's more comfortable lost in the pages of a novel than chasing real-life mysteries. But when an envelope appears in her mailbox, containing an antique locket and a cryptic riddle- Scarlett is drawn into a puzzle that ends up being more than she bargained for.

With help from Cad, a handsome fisherman who just recently got to town, Scarlett begins to unravel a decades-old love story, a long buried tragedy, and the carefully guarded secrets of the people she thought she knew best. When their search leads to the discovery of a buried body, the past and present collide in ways neither of them expected.

As betrayal and love muddle together, Scarlett has to find a way to clear everything up. But in choosing to right the past, she might just be re-writing her future.
