When The Fighter Falls

"Why do you always have to protect your ego? Look what you've done to yourself!Let me see,"I ordered Leo.
He hesitates but I swatted his hand away and take a look at his bruised chest. Thank God there was only one on his ribs but it was purple and bad enough.
I pressed the ice bag just on the spot and he hissed at the contact.
Fuck,how much I want to run down my hands on his perfect abs.But seeing them covered in bruises makes me take care of him.
" See,that's what happens when you fight without any guard.Why do you always have to be the winner? Keep up with your pride and ego? You could've been more injured," I say.
He looks up and my attention goes to his cut lip.
"I just wanted revenge," He said firmly.
"Leo,revenge for what? There are far more better ways to take revenge," I say softly.
"He desserved it. He hurt your feelings," He hisses.
"I can take care of myself,"I said as I examined for more bruises.
" No,he took advantage of your pure heart,your innocence, your kindness.I couldn't let it slip!"He spat.
Just then I felt a hand on the back of my neck.I look up and my eyes lock onto Leo's.
When did he come so close?
His hand moves up to my hair and he crashes his lips on mine.
