The Veil Of Aether

A thousand years after a cataclysm known only as The Sundering, humanity survives within colossal Shield Cities, floating, magically-warded bastions that protect life from the hostile, transformed world outside. Beyond these protective Aegis shields, the lands are twisted by old sorceries, scarred by elemental rifts, and dominated by mysterious, semi-sentient landscapes. Nature has become both weapon and predator, reshaping forests, rivers, and mountains into living hazards.

The Shields, powered by ancient runes known as the Heartstones, have begun to falter. Where once humanity thrived under their protection, the outside world's creeping influence now breaches the wards in unpredictable ways. The ruling Council of the Shield Cities insists the Shields are eternal, but whispers spread of a forgotten conspiracy: the Heartstones are not inexhaustible, they are fed by sacrifices and hidden bonds, long buried in human history....

We follow the Story of Kael Yaris, a Young Man searching for a better solution to keep the Shields up which protect the Cities and small Villages all around the Map!
