Avery James Carter is kicked out of her apartment and forced to find an affordable living space downtown on a medical residents salary.

When she finds a dream apartment she jumps at the chance to stop living in her car, but there's only one problem: her roommate is beyond sexy.

Rather than get kicked out of her another living situation she attempts to tread carefully despite the burning tension between them.

"The boys? I get to meet the guy already?" She completely ignores the last half of my rambling with a teasing coo in her voice.

"Ariana-"

"What did you call him? A walking Greek god with a body that could bring you to your knees?"
My face fills with red as a fumble with my phone taking it off speaker phone just seconds too late. I look up to see Jackson standing in the doorway with an almost blank look on his face hiding something else I can't quite read.

I know what the look on my face is screaming, my eyes wide and cheeks red, I quickly try to hide it by hanging my head down staring into the full box.

"You were on speaker Ariana."
