I'm Xander-16, sarcastic, and apparently "the strongest mortal in fifty years," which sounds impressive until a hellhound uses you as a chew toy.

When the Heart of Tartarus is stolen-a stone capable of bringing Kronos back-I'm shoved into a quest with six other misfits. We've got a genius, a thief, an axe-addict, a fashion queen, a calm blacksmith... and a mortal girl who should not see through the Mist, but totally does. And somehow she can tame Underworld creatures like they're golden retrievers.

Together, we're supposed to stop a war between gods, survive monsters, and not kill each other.
