Roomates to lovers

Kaveh and Alhaitham began as unwilling roommates, both too stubborn to admit how much the other disrupted their routines. Days were full of arguments about clutter, silence, forgotten deadlines and tea cups left in the wrong place. Yet somewhere between the late-night study sessions and quiet mornings, they caught themselves staring a little too long.
Kaveh noticed how Alhaitham's eyes softened when he read. Alhaitham noticed how the sunlight always seemed to catch in Kaveh's hair. Neither of them said anything. Instead they kept pretending they were just annoyed with each other, even as their hearts sped up every time the other walked into the room.
What started as tension slowly shifted into something warm. Shared dinners, lingering touches when passing by, the kind of glances that said more than words ever could. They were still Kaveh and Alhaitham, still arguing, still stubborn, still pretending they didn't care.
But the truth was obvious. Falling for each other had already begun.
