An apocalypse is among us and the world is falling apart at the seams, however this isn't zombies.

The year is 3068, the idea of a Mechanical city that can shield the world from all dangers is at last a reality. Utopia was a world where humans would be safe from everything. Things in Utopia were designed to be perfect, but they didn't go as planned. As the entire human race was pulled into its walls something went wrong with the center power core. The machines molded into killers, destroying Utopia and everything it was promised to be. The people begged the Utopian government to resolve the problem, but instead they fled to pre-made shelters and sent soldiers to control the rebellious, fearful citizens.

The empire of safety became known as the Mechanical Hell, but was shortened to a simpler name: Mech. Can the rebellion free the struggling human race from the evils of their gigantic steel prison? Will they discover the secrets the Utopian government is hiding? Read on to find out.

The year is 398 of the Ninth Era (or more accurately, 7700 AD). The Twenty Years War has ended, giving rise to a new age of mass surveillance, paranoia, and doubt. Angela, a Frame pilot fighting her way through her trauma, slowly becomes disillusioned with the authoritarian system in which she exists. The Knife, a mob fixer with the ability to bend states of matter, tries to crawl out from under what she's done only to get sucked right back in. Grey, a goofy and loyal friend with modest ambitions, is driven to act and save Angela, only to find himself embroiled in a deadly conflict he doesn't understand. And finally, Davis, an esteemed investigator, learns that the ideals he fought for were never real in the first place. As shadowy players make their move, these four lives collide violently. Frames drop, guns are drawn - and there won't be a winner, only more devastation. At the center of it all lies the Vessel, a reality-warping implant with unimaginable destructive capability. The Federation will kill without hesitation to get it back - and Angela just merged with it.

Virtually anything is possible now, for magic and science have become one. Wars rarely occur anymore and are quickly resolved. Poverty and crime is at an all time low and peace reins supreme. If it weren't for one small problem... Viruses. Codes, no... Monsters living inside our systems that can resume a human form, but lack compassion, remorse and strive to perform one goal. Cause Chaos. They feed off our codings, our files, our life and seek to destroy all we have worked to achieve. To combat these viruses, a new system was born. A group of people that are the perfect merge between human and coding. They are called Glitches. Their main goal? Wipe out all viruses. So what happens when Adam Dalberg, the most skilled glitch of all meets Alesa? A virus unlike all others... A virus that actually has compassion? That can love? Will this romance turn out all right in the end? Or will it just be a system failure?
