Devouring Desire

Ember O'Brien, a young baking student living alone in Los Angeles, has always believed she lived a safe and ordinary life-until a disturbing encounter at a café brings a mysterious man into her orbit. Soon after, she crosses paths with Mire, a rugged and intimidating butcher whose quiet behavior masks something darker beneath the surface. A cat-and-mouse psychological game begins between Ember and Mire as she tries to unravel who he really is and how far he's willing to go to keep her within his reach. With the lines between protection, obsession, and danger blurring, Ember must decide whether to confront the darkness watching her-or run before it consumes her.
