Something or someone that has been attacking kingdoms around the Mushroom world had decided to attack the Koopa Kingdom and overthrew Bowser. Bowser escapes with Kamek and Bowsers son Bowser Junior. Bowser is forced to have a temporary peace treaty with Princess Peach from the Mushroom kingdom only until they can neutralize the threat so it can no longer attack anymore kingdoms and in return helping Bowser to get rid of whatever is attacking the kingdoms will end up helping Princess Peach in the long run by stopping the threat before it reaches Mushroom kingdom. Along the way, Bowser will have to work together with the people he hates most, the Mario brothers... well... mainly just Mario, Luigi doesn't talk much... but he seems pretty nice and reasonable, unlike his brother. if Bowser has to work with that red douchbag, he might as well try to get along with the only non-aggravating one here...
