Dear Santa....

"So who are you bringing to Christmas dinner brother dearest? Someone tall, blonde, pneumatic and able to recite Shakespeare whilst polishing your ego?"

"Ha ha. So not my type as you well know sister dearest..." he smiled wryly and looked around as he spoke. "I may just have to ask...... Santa." His voice trailed off as his eyes came to rest across the snowy market place.

"Tom? You there Tom? Tommy Hiddleston you better not have hung up on me!"

The voice died away as he pocketed his phone and concentrated. On the snow, on the girl currently standing in the green dress, red hat and stripy leggings. Tom stood, hot chocolate warming his hands and watched her. She smiled at the small boy, ruffling his hair and whispering something in his ear. He giggled and ran back to his parents. She waved and the family disappeared into the crowd of the market. She really was quite the prettiest elf he'd ever seen.....
