"I apologize for the harsh break up, Lillie. But, I cannot stand this anymore. Please, do not be upset." Lilliana's first love, Marcus whispers sympathetically. At the age of 23, Lilliana thought that Marcus was the 'one' for her, or so she thought. "You said that you would always be by my side forever, Marcus." Lilliana swallows down the lump that forms in her throat. "You said you would be here, forever." A soft, sorrow sigh slips past Marcus' lips. "There's no such thing as forever, Lillie. Please, get that through your head when you try to move on from me. Guys will say 'forever' and make promises that never stay promises just to get ladies off of their backs. Just, don't believe in forever because forever doesn't exist. Until then, Lilliana. I shall see you in the future sometime." He places a feathery kiss to her delicate lips, spins on his heels and proceeds to walk away from the girl he loves who collapses onto her knees.

14+ COMPLETED!! romantic short story "Loni, please." His voice is so gentle and so longing, I weaken. Swallowing, I finally dare meet his gaze. My fear of disappointment vanishes. "Please say something." "You made me feel special and loved one minute and the next I don't even know if you're alive." "I..I just really needed time and space to figure out you and me and us. " He gently strokes my arm and feel myself weakening by every touch. Right now, I want him more than ever. "Have you gotten it all figured out?" I ask him breathlessly. "Not all of it, but I couldn't stand another second away from you." "Good answer." I lean in and our lips touch. I've missed this, I've missed him. The past weeks have been so confusing for me. Thomas suddenly stopped calling and texting me. He wouldn't answer my calls and texts. I felt used and stupid. Like maybe Steven was right. What was I thinking? I was never really good enough for him. But right now, I know Thomas means what he said. "You wanna get out of here?"Thomas whispers breathlessly, our foreheads leaning on each other. There's something sexy in his voice, something edgy. "Yes, please." (In the editing process :D)h
