"I apologize for the harsh break up, Lillie. But, I cannot stand this anymore. Please, do not be upset." Lilliana's first love, Marcus whispers sympathetically. At the age of 23, Lilliana thought that Marcus was the 'one' for her, or so she thought.
"You said that you would always be by my side forever, Marcus." Lilliana swallows down the lump that forms in her throat.
"You said you would be here, forever." A soft, sorrow sigh slips past Marcus' lips.
"There's no such thing as forever, Lillie. Please, get that through your head when you try to move on from me. Guys will say 'forever' and make promises that never stay promises just to get ladies off of their backs. Just, don't believe in forever because forever doesn't exist. Until then, Lilliana. I shall see you in the future sometime." He places a feathery kiss to her delicate lips, spins on his heels and proceeds to walk away from the girl he loves who collapses onto her knees.
