It highlights the fact that not every picture tells a story of happiness and innocence, but really as a vessel for our big emotions like anger, sadness, and jealousy. Each memory represents a stroke of colour on the page of life. While some marks can't be fully erased, we still can choose what colours we use to move forward.
After being rescued from a life of domestic violence with her mother, a young girl returns to the place she once called her home. There she finds her beloved crayon box. As she reminisces about the stories and memories attached to them, she paints a story of pain, escape, and the long road to healing.
