This is the second book in the Olympus Syndicate Series. The first book is out on Kindle. Shadows of Innocence Olympus Syndicate, Book Two To the world, Hades is untouchable-ruthless, merciless, and feared by even the darkest of men. The undertaker of the Olympus Syndicate. The one you call when you want something buried-permanently. But they don't know his greatest secret. He is the Grim Reaper. The shadow that cleanses the city. The monster who hunts other monsters. Buried beneath his brutal reputation lies a darkness forged in pain-and a secret he vowed would never be unleashed. Until she walked back into his life. Twenty years later, Persephone is a ghost wearing borrowed faces-a survivor born of trauma, a woman who learned to live behind masks. An actress by trade, a runner by instinct. She thought she escaped the nightmare that destroyed her innocence. She was wrong. Because fate never forgets. Monsters never die. And some stories refuse to stay buried. Now, their past is back-with claws, with blood, and with vengeance. To survive, they'll have to become what they fear most. To win, they'll have to resurrect the darkness. And to destroy the monster that ruined them... They'll have to become one. Dark. Unfinished. Unforgiven. This isn't love-it's war.

Valeria didn't rush. She never did. Inez was pinned beneath her, wrist locked overhead, the hold precise and impersonal. Not pain. Control. Inez scoffed anyway. "That's it?" she sneered. "I've had tutors scarier than you." Valeria said nothing. The silence pressed in. "You don't scare me," Inez added, louder. Brattier. "You just-" "Enough." One word. Flat. Final. Valeria lifted Inez's chin with two fingers, detached as a correction. "Look at me," she said coolly. "If you're going to embarrass yourself, do it properly." Inez laughed, brittle. "You think this makes you powerful?" "I don't think," Valeria replied. "I decide." Her gaze never wavered. "You provoke because it's the last control you have." "I don't belong to you," Inez snapped. Valeria leaned in, voice razor-thin. "You are my wife. You belong to consequences." She released her grip. "Say it." "No." Valeria waited. The quiet broke Inez, she hated being ignored. "...I'll behave, I'll be a good girl" Inez muttered. "Specify." Inez swallowed hard. "...I'll be your good girl" Valeria stepped back, already distant. "Good," she said. "Remember why." #1 older women-13th February (FAST PACE BOOK)
