A Well Kept Secret

Twenty-four- year old Alice Burns thought she'd planned her future ahead of her, a loving husband, a baby girl on the way and a family of her own. But instead she's facing her pregnancy alone, whilst carrying a painful secret that shattered her marriage. Her mother then falls in love with farmer and horse riding coach James Thorne who owns a farmhouse in the Spanish countryside, Alice finds herself moving to Madrid hoping to leave the unwanted past behind.

Upon arriving in her life in the world of luxury, open fields surrounded by animals a life Alice never imagined to call home. She meets James's son Anthony- a quiet, compassionate horse- riding instructor whose kindness slowly begins to break down the walls Alice spent years building. However escaping the past isn't as simple as moving to another part of the world, as old wounds resurface and buried secrets threaten to destroy her relationship with Anthony and the family she's trying to build with him. She must decide whether to keep hiding behind the labels she'd carried since childhood...or finally fight for the future she and her daughter deserve.
