Carter Lafayette is just a normal kid. Or so he thought. One day, on a trip to the woods, he stumbles upon a world like his. He knows something is wrong, but can't quite place his finger on it. It's almost like..he's been there before?

With the help of his sisters, his best friend, and some new people along the way, Carter plans to figure out whats going on and stop it.

Anne Lafayette is considered 'troubled'. She ins't, she just wants her dad, who vanished four years ago. She's been looking for him, despite the police pronouncing him dead. She doesn't believe it. She hopes that wherever her brother brought them can answer her questions.

Until it opens more up.

Micah Lafayette is tired. Tired of being the weak link, the 'baby of the family'. Just because she is smaller or frailer than her siblings doesn't mean that she cannot keep up. If only her mom could see that.

When Carter takes them to this..strange place, she hopes that she can start fresh, show people who she really is. But, something happens to make herself wonder : can she?

Jade thinks that she's pretty cool, but other kids at school don't think so. Lately, shes been having visions. When she sees the Lafayette siblings vanish, she follows them to another world. She'd do it again too, no questions asked.
